Visible for Impact Session 1 Reflection

Yesterday, we held our very first Visible for Impact live session on Google Meet.

We had 8 World Pulse changemakers in attendance, representing different countries and backgrounds. It was encouraging to finally meet everyone after weeks of planning and conversations.

During the session, each participant introduced herself, shared the work she is doing, and talked about the kind of impact she hopes to create. I had the privilege of facilitating the discussion and introducing the vision behind the Visible for Impact initiative.

Like many online meetings, we experienced a few network challenges, but we were still able to connect, learn from one another, and outline what the next two weeks will look like.

For our first assignment, I asked each participant to reflect on one important question:

"What do you want to be known for on LinkedIn?"

I also invited everyone to share their LinkedIn profile URLs in our WhatsApp group so we could begin supporting one another by connecting, engaging with each other's work, and building a community of visible changemakers.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing Mama @Queen Sheba take a screenshot of our meeting and share it on LinkedIn.

It was encouraging to see her publicly celebrate the beginning of this journey.

Although a few participants couldn't attend due to other commitments, they reached out afterward to let me know, and we're looking forward to having them join our upcoming sessions.

This is only the beginning, but yesterday reminded me that when purpose-driven women come together, there's so much we can learn from one another.

I'm excited to see where this journey leads and as we build our oersonal brands better on LinkedIn.
