Launching the CareerLensAI Graduate Future Skills & AI Readiness Survey 2026

Across Africa, millions of university students and recent graduates are preparing to enter a job market that is changing rapidly because of artificial intelligence.

Yet too often, conversations about AI and the future of work happen without hearing directly from the young people whose futures are being shaped by these changes.

Today, I am pleased to launch the CareerLensAI Graduate Future Skills & AI Readiness Survey 2026.

This initiative aims to better understand how students and recent graduates are preparing for the future of work, the opportunities they see, the challenges they face, and the support they need to thrive in an AI-driven economy.

The findings will contribute to a public report with practical recommendations for educators, employers, nonprofits, policymakers, and other stakeholders working to improve graduate employability and future skills development.

I would like to invite the World Pulse community to contribute to this initiative.
