Data for Story Telling.

Something you give away multiplies. Something you don’t give away stays with you, never wearing out. What could that be?
One beautiful answer is a story.
When we share our stories, they can inspire someone, create awareness, build connections, and sometimes create an impact far beyond what we imagined.
In today’s digital world, digital storytelling is emerging faster than ever. I feel fortunate to be strengthening my storytelling skills through the Digital Empowerment Suite designed by World Pulse for women across the world.
This session helped me understand how digital tools can make our stories more engaging, presentable, and accessible to a wider audience—while still preserving the emotion, authenticity, and flow of the story.
I also understood how visual storytelling can help people remember information better than text alone. When facts are presented through meaningful visuals, infographics, and a clear narrative, they become easier to understand and remember. Data storytelling can also be a powerful tool for personal branding, business growth, and communicating impact.
One of my biggest takeaways was the three golden rules for turning data into stories:
Make it real and believable.
Worship the context.
Keep the flow.
These simple principles gave me a new perspective on how data can become more than numbers—it can become a story that people can connect with.
With these insights into digital storytelling, data storytelling, and infographics, I hope to continue improving my storytelling skills and make my stories more meaningful, engaging, and impactful.
Thank you, World Pulse, for creating opportunities for women around the world to learn, share, and amplify their voices.
