In my community, many girls face challenges that affect their education and well-being. Some miss school because they cannot afford sanitary pads while others lack basic school supplies. These challenges often prevent girls from reaching their full potential.
As a young woman, I have seen these struggles and I believe that every girl deserves dignity, education, and equal opportunities. This has inspired me to develop an idea called the Mphamvu Her Project meaning Strengthen Her. This initiative aims at strengthening girls and breaking the barriers to education.
My goal is to help girls stay in school, believe in themselves and pursue their dreams without barriers.
Although this initiative is still in its early stages, my vision is to provide sanitary pads, school supplies, and support to vulnerable girls in my community. I also hope to create safe spaces where girls can learn about health, leadership, confidence, and their rights.
By sharing this vision on World Pulse, I hope to connect with women and changemakers who can offer guidance, inspiration, and support as I work to turn this idea into reality.
I believe that when we empower one girl, we strengthen an entire community.
