Collabration is never just working together,

Accomplish more and attain greater

results and benefits.

Also collabaration happens through connection that builded through trust.

It's a compassionate people who bring hope, support and profound changes into the lives of others.

I, Ms. Sindhu belong to indigenous Baduga community in rural area in Nilgiri Hills, India. While maintaining rural ties, some fortunate women's from my community are highly educated, occupy professional spaces. During Covid I joined a women's community group started for my community women's living across globe to support and empower each other and address wide topics and subjects.This forum is a social initiative and is moderated by women volunteers.Being a platform it helped many women's to showcase their talents( for the first time), share their knowledge by hosting a workshops and in learning. The group remained active and served its purpose post Covid too.

In July 2022, a message popped up in this group asking for a favour. She is a certified Maternal Wellness Specialist and wanted to conduct a Breastfeeding Awareness session for a womens in rural area in the Nilgiri Hills, ie., my hometown.I immediately phoned her and learnt about her work ( I also benifitted by her workshop for my second baby during Covid) in detail. She need to do it as a service for her own womens, I also very well understood it's a shared purpose because being a new mother that time ,I know how much it is important to be aware of myths about breast feeding and i equally wanted my sisters in rural areas to be educated about breast feeding myth & awareness and about nutrition intake that helps both mom and baby. And I helped her to reach my cousin who is running a NGO to help people in rural areas. Through partnership we conducted a Breast Feeding Awareness session for rural mothers at primary health center during Breast Feeding Awareness Week in the month of August. The lactation counselor have trained many nuclear household mom's but she revealed with lots of emotion that training a mom's of her own land was her dream and happened through parternship. More than 200 mothers in rural area benifitted through this collabaration. I was mutually satisfied eventhough my contribution was little, connecting the right people for initiating something big.

The quote " Where there is a will, there is a way ". proven to be true in this collaboration. Collaboration is not just sharing experiences - It's about creating awareness, inspiring actions and building a deeper connection.
