I HAVE A VISION. BUT HOW DO I MAKE IT HAPPEN?

This is a question I have asked myself many times.

Last year, as the Bloom physical event host in Nigeria, I brought together a small group of people with vision in our space where we talked honestly about what we were building, share ideas, learn from one another and have conversations that are not always possible in our usual spaces. And that experience stayed with me.

You will believe with me that many people have a vision, ideas, dreams, businesses, projects, solutions and things they genuinely want to contribute to the world, but what is often missing is not the passion but the clarity around how to move from what they see in their minds to something they can actually build.

I understand that journey because I have lived it for more than 15 years building Girls Education Mission International where I have learned mostly by doing. In this journey, I have made mistakes, tried things that did not work, adapted, started again, built partnerships, developed programmes, led teams, mobilised resources and figured things out from the ground up.

Honestly, I would say, there are so many things I know now that I wish someone had told me when I was starting. And that experience is part of what led to the creation of VisioSense

VisioSense is about Making Sense of Your Vision. It is a space where the experience, lessons and practical knowledge gathered over years of building and leading can be shared to help individuals and organisations move from vision to strategy, action and impact. And Powering Purpose is one of the ways we are opening up that conversation.

Powering Purpose is an Impact Studio. It is not simply another webinar where you sit and listen to speakers talk at you. The Impact Studio is designed as a space for learning, reflection, honest conversations, practical thinking and exchange.

On 25 September 2026, I will be joined by two Experts whose experiences bring very different perspectives to the conversation.

JONDI WHITIS is an internationally recognised trainer, mentor, practitioner, author and longtime teacher in EFT Tapping, Energy Psychology and complementary holistic approaches to emotional health and wellbeing. With 3 decades of experience helping people understand and work with the inner realities that affect how they show up, Jondi will help us explore the mind behind the mission and what it takes to prepare ourselves mentally and emotionally for the journey of building our vision.

Anurag Hazarika, an Assistant Professor of Commerce at Tezpur College and Vice President, Partnerships and International Relations at Global Interfaith University, USA brings economic, management and strategic perspective to the Impact Studio. Anurag will help us look beyond the excitement of an idea and ask the practical questions around value, resources, sustainability and what it takes to make a vision actually work in the real world.

And I will bring the lessons from my own journey of building GEM from the ground up not as someone who has figured everything out, but as someone who has been on the road for more than 15 years and has learned along the way, turning a vision into a globally recognized model.

Together, we will explore the mind behind the mission, the experience behind the journey and the realities behind the idea.

Most importantly, we want to create a room where you can think about your own vision and how to make sense of it.
