LET THEM LIVE/DREAM

In this part of the world, children are not allowed to live neither be hopeful. A girl from the eastern part of Nigeria was taken from her parent at the age of 8 to go live with her Aunt, the aunt was yet to have her own child as at when she went to the village to carry her niece, with hopes of sending the girl to school and caring from her as a way to help her the family. The girls family could barely feed neither care for their children, this little girl is from a family of 5 she is the second child.

Hope showed resurfaced for this little girl, she was happy as at that time that she's going to the city and she will go to school. But the story changed when she got to the city, instead of sending this little girl to school she became a house help, at 8 she was already going to the, market and going for errands meant for adults. This little girl was not cared for, was not allowed to be a child, was not allowed to make mistakes because she will receive the beating of her life. The maltreatment became so much that even neigbours noticed and had to inter-vain and she was already 13. The little girl shared her story and was asked if her parent were still alive and she said yes, she had been living like that for the past 5 years, no school no good food and all, when she became 10 the Aunt had her first child and this little girl became a house help and a nanny.

A child taking care of another child, it was so absurd, this girl became an adult while still a child.

This is a call to stop child abuse, how a human go to carry child a from their parents and stopped them from leaving neither dreaming, imagine if the child where to be your child? If you need a nanny go hire one and if you need a house help go hire one as well, don't carry somebody's child to stop living in other to live for you. Let stopped child abuse, and make awareness to parents, especially those in the far village to learn to give birth to the number of children they can take care of.

They should be an agency to rescue children going through such, a lot of children have lost their lives from this evil act.
