TAKING A BREAK IS NOT A WEAKNESS.

A Word for You Today...
Taking a rest or taking a break is not a sign of weakness, my friend.
I came to remind you tonight that resting after a long journey—or even pausing during the journey of life—does not mean you are weak. It does not mean you are a failure. It does not mean you cannot continue.
Sometimes, the strongest thing you can do is slow down.
Have you ever wondered why roads and highways have bumps, turns, and speed breakers? They are not there to stop movement completely. They are there to slow things down for a reason.
Sometimes, slowing down is necessary to recalibrate, refocus, recharge, and regain strength.
In the same way, life may require you to slow down sometimes.
So if you feel the need to rest, please rest.
If you feel overwhelmed, take a break.
If everything feels too fast and too heavy, slow down.
Step on the brake for a moment.
Resting gives you the opportunity to rebuild, restructure, rekindle your strength, and prepare yourself for the next phase of your journey.
But hear this clearly:
Resting is not quitting.
Taking a break is not giving up.
Rest is meant to prepare you to rise stronger, think clearer, and move better.
So, my dear friend, rest if you need to. Pause if you must. But don’t stop believing. Don’t stop moving forward.
This phase is not the end.
You still have more to do.
You still have more to become.
You still have more ahead of you.
Keep going.
And no matter what life looks like right now—don’t give up.
